The MDSPP is a full-time, 14-course (39-credit) degree program. The curriculum is divided into core and elective courses and can be completed in two years.
The MDSPP provides a unique curriculum at the intersection of data science and quantitative public policy analysis, equipping graduates with cutting-edge computational, analytical, and governance skills.
The program trains students to apply data science methods to public policy questions– like economics and job creation, health and health care, and education– in new and innovative ways.
In their first two semesters, students will attend non-credit Data Science in Action Seminars approximately once every month. These sessions will bring to Georgetown leading experts who are applying data science to difficult policy problems.
